SIMON LAPOINTE, RPP, MCIP

In 2012, Simon founded 3Pikas - a boutique planning and design consultancy based in Whitehorse, Yukon. Simon has worked as a planner, designer, and project manager on land development projects, land use plans, growth development plans, detailed site plans, and comprehensive community plans.

PROJECT PLANNER
Alwyn is an interdisciplinary, community-focused planner. Alwyn’s background in landscape architecture, combined with her experience in planning, makes her a valuable team member. She is well-versed in integrating the unique environmental, biophysical, socio-economic, cultural, and landscape challenges and opportunities found in the North into public engagement processes and conceptual plans. With extensive experience in community engagement, Alwyn has played a crucial role in planning and facilitating engagement processes. Her greatest skill lies in developing and implementing public and First Nation engagement strategies that make complex projects understandable and approachable for all audiences.
APPA LAPOINTE, D.O.G.
PROFESSIONAL WORKING DOG
Since 2021, Appa has German Shepherds and comes from a line of hard-working dogs. He’s been 3Pika’s professional dog for 5 years. His job includes stress reduction and bear duty in the field. Appa takes his position at 3Pikas very seriously and will continue to hone his skills for years to come.
