Civicly Map, our crowdsourcing map for online engagement, allows organizations and consulting firms to conveniently work with partners, stakeholders, and citizens to identify and co-determine which areas should be flagged as important and exchange landscape level information. Civicly Map can also be used as a forum to validate and receive input on various topics.
The City of Whitehorse used Civicly Map to collect information from citizens during the Chadburn Lake planning process. There over more than 500 site visits from 100 users during the project. The majority of the site traffic originated from www.whitehorse.ca. The reminder of the site visits originated from social media (mostly Facebook, Twitter, and Linkedin).
